Homedics Products
As a very satisfied customer, I can honestly say that
Homedics products work! My first was a gift – a Homedics back
massager. I use it while sitting at my desk, driving long
distances, or just relaxing on my bed. It easily attaches to my
office chair or car seat with secure Velcro straps. For those
unexpected, occasional accidents, spills and other grime have
come off quite easily by spot cleaning with a damp cloth. On
those evenings where I just want to relax in bed, I lay it flat
on my mattress, place a couple of pillows under my knees, put
on soft music, and get lulled to sleep by its gentle roller
mechanisms.
For less than twenty dollars, you
can buy a specially designed SoundSpa from Homedics, which
features six soothing, natural sounds – inducing the perfect
sleep environment for all ages. In fact, the SoundSpa model
SS-2000 is a great gift and inexpensive gift for new parents;
the rhythmic sounds create a comforting and calming environment
for babies, resulting in more relaxing middle-of-the-night
feedings.
For older babies, the SoundSpa™
Lullaby, Homedics product model SS-3000, plays three relaxing
melodies of “Twinkle, Twinkle”, “Rock-A-Bye-Baby”, and the
“Cradle Song”, as well as three soothing soundtracks of rain,
ocean, and heartbeat simulations. Included in this under
twenty-dollar item is a rotating picture projector that gently
rotates through three image discs of fish, stars, and animals.
The projector is adjustable, allowing you to adjust the
projection onto either your baby’s walls or ceilings. What’s
even nicer, is that it comes with an auto-off timer, so that
you can set the projector to play for 15, 30, 45, or 60 minute
intervals. All features are interchangeable, so that you can
create new combinations of sounds and images each night and at
naptime.
Another wonderful Homedics
product for babies and children is their No-Touch Thermometer,
which works by simply pointing it near the center of your
child’s forehead and then pressing a button for one-second
readings. Because the No-Touch Thermometer comes with its own
built-in flashlight and backlit display, there's never the fear
of waking your sleeping child by turning on the lights. Of
course, this does not mean to imply that you shouldn’t keep a
nightlight on in the child’s bedroom for observation, but the
need for sudden bright lights, intrusive traditional
thermometers, or even more advanced touch thermometer
temperature taking, can now be a thing of the past. However,
for less than a quarter of the cost, Homedics does manufacture
an underarm thermometer, which is flexible, lightweight, and
especially designed to conform to child's arm for noninvasive
temperature taking. Within a minute, the TU-100 will display
your child’s temperature in an easy-to-read SUPERSIZE DIGITS™
display in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. For monitoring
purposes, the last temperature reading is stored in the
thermometer’s memory. The TU-100 uses a 1.55V, LR41 alkaline,
SR41 silver oxide, or equivalent type battery and features an
automatic shut-off for longer battery life. For more
information about these and other Homedics products, please
